© 2018 The Cochrane Collaboration. This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To conduct a suite of reviews to assess the effectiveness of restriction of physical means of access as a method of suicide prevention. These reviews will focus on the method of suicide - jumping, colliding with a train, poisoning, hanging, using a firearm, using a sharp object, inhaling motor vehicle exhaust, drowning, and charcoal burning.
