True Colours Infographic Narrative Description

True Colours is a daily and weekly symptom monitoring tool that was established in 2006. The tool is used for clinical service for individualized care involving patient monitoring and feedback. As of 2020, there are eight unique clinical instances across secondary care mental health services (CAMHS, BIRSH (self-harm clinic), and Foxweb), primary care services (COMBO), and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) clinics at OUH. The tool is also used for research including 15 unique instances used for digital phenotyping observational studies (e.g., OXTEXT, AMoSS, BDRN, COMET, FLOURISH, IBD) and electronic patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) in randomized trials across a variety of patient populations (e.g., treatment resistant depression, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and sleep problems). Research involving True Colours has resulted in over 50 publications. As of 2020, there were 36000 registered users with 1.4 million questionnaire responses across both clinical service and research instances.
