Fitri Fareez Ramli

MD, MMEDSCI (Pharmacology)

DPhil Student

I am currently a DPhil student under Prof. Philip Cowen and Dr Beata Godlewska. The primary research project for my DPhil is related to ebselen, a lithium mimetic, as a potential drug for treatment-resistant depression. The research involves elucidating the mechanism of ebselen using surrogate antidepressive markers and neuroimaging techniques. My previous research focus was on the adverse effects of methadone on the male reproductive system. My primary research interest is psychopharmacology focussing on pharmacodynamic aspects.
