The IT Users Group is made up of representatives from every research group in the department to share best practice for information governance and inform department policies.  Members of the users group have been responsible for co-ordinating an information asset register for their research groups. The users group has a dedicated mailing list to coordinate the group's activities, as well as to exchange IT and governance questions or tips that members have and that may be answerable or of interest to other members of the list. Representatives for each research group are nominated by PIs. Staff wishing to be involved in the IT users group should discuss with their PI.
