Looking for people aged between 20 and 60 with current depression, who have shown inadequate response to at least one and no more than three antidepressant treatments.

We are studying the effect of an anesthetic drug called ketamine in people with depression who did not improve with standard antidepressants.

The study involves receiving one single intravenous infusion of ketamine or placebo in adjunct to your current antidepressant medication and examining how this affects past negative memories and your emotional state.

Time and expenses will be reimbursed.

If you think that you might be interested in taking part please contact, in confidence, with no obligation to participate via email gems@psych.ox.ac.uk or complete our quick survey to help us determine if you broadly meet our criteria.
