I am a DPhil student and Specialist Registrar in General Adult Psychiatry, interested in how hormones affect mental health. I have been awarded an MRC Clinical Research Training Fellowship to investigate the effect of the menstrual cycle in psychosis.

I studied medicine at the University of Aberdeen before completing Foundation Training through the West of Scotland Academic Foundation Programme. Next, I trained in psychiatry at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, during which I was awarded an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship. In 2020-2021, I completed an NIHR Maudsley BRC Preparatory Fellowship in which I piloted a menstrual tracking app with patients at Clinical High Risk for Psychosis.

I have an honorary clinical role in the National Female Hormone Clinic, at the Maudsley Hospital.
