Applications are invited for a part-time Personal Assistant to Professor Alan Stein (50% FTE 18.25 hours per week). The post is based in the Department of Psychiatry, at the Warneford Hospital.
You will provide comprehensive secretarial support, including managing incoming correspondence, organising academic seminars and providing support to Professor Stein’s team. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry website and reference database.
With a good general education you will have previous PA experience at a senior level along with a high degree of computer literacy. Willingness to work independently, as part of a team and to respond flexibly to the demands of the post will also be essential. Previous experience of working within a medical/academic environment would be an advantage.
Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment with the University will be subject to a satisfactory disclosure report from the Criminal Records Bureau.
