The Whitehall Imaging Sub-study is a sub-study of Whitehall II ("Stress and Health" Study), combining its rich longitudinal data set with cutting edge MRI brain imaging methods at the University of Oxford. The project began in January this year, receiving its first participant in April 2012. It will image a total of 800 Whitehall II participants by the end of 2016, making it a unique epidemiological imaging study of its kind.
