There are a number of exciting clinical developments in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)-based group work which offer the potential to be effective psychological interventions for individuals who experience psychosis, although research into the clinical impact of these interventions is at a relatively early stage. In this chapter, the authors present details of the development of their groups, together with reflections on the clinical experience of undertaking this work. The authors outline an ACT-for-psychosis group protocol for working with psychosis clients. There are a number of contextual factors that can present challenges to taking these developments forward. © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
