Part of the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Seminar Series

Digital technologies offer new possibilities for supporting young people’s mental health, but their benefits may not reach everyone equally. Drawing on a decade of research, this talk explores how digital mental health research can be designed with, rather than for, underserved young people and families. Through evidence and practical examples, I will examine how co-design can move beyond consultation towards meaningful partnership, and consider what this means for creating more acceptable, engaging and equitable digital mental health support.
