Postdoctoral Research Scientist

I am a postdoctoral research scientist within the Translational Neuroscience and Dementia Research Group. I am interested in understanding the underlying mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) to inform the development of novel therapeutic approaches for the treatment of AD.

My current research within the group is focused upon the use of bioinformatic driven processes to identify new candidate drugs which moderate the previously identified Aβ-driven DKK1-Wnt-PCP-JNK neurotoxic signalling pathway.

Prior to joining the Translational Neuroscience and Dementia Research team, I completed a DPhil in Professor Wood’s group at the University of Oxford investigating novel RNA-based therapeutics for the treatment of AD.
