I am a research assistant working on the SlowMo trial. SlowMo is a multi-centre randomised controlled trial (working across London, Oxford and Sussex), evaluating the clinical effectiveness and mechanisms of action of a new digital therapy (SlowMo). SlowMo is designed to support people who fear harm from others and works by encouraging people to slow down for a moment to reduce fast thinking.

Previously I worked as an Assistant Psychologist in South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. In this role I was split between an inpatient unit for adolescents and ‘Corporate Psychology’, in which I helped to implement and evaluate initiatives to support staff’s emotional wellbeing.

I completed my undergraduate degree in English and Psychology at the University of Liverpool and gained my MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Manchester.
