Working with Dr Holly Bear, I am a Research Assistant on the ‘Bridging the Gap’ study. Using implementation frameworks, this study aims to investigate what professionals in the field of child and adolescent mental health perceive to be barriers and facilitators in the implementation of research-informed practices. All participants will undertake a short survey evaluating an evidence-based practice, which will allow us to identify case studies through subsequent qualitative interviews of what industry professionals believe to be the facilitators and barriers to implementing evidence-based practices. We hope the findings from this investigation will serve to inform a toolkit for the better implementation of evidence-based practices.
Prior to joining the University of Oxford, I held the role of Academic Researcher for the Centre for Social Development, where I undertook a qualitative investigation of the impact of anonymity and censorship on anti-social behaviour online. I am interested in the impact of online spheres on the mental health of children and young people, and particularly the influence online social contagion can have. I completed my BSc in Psychology at the University of Kent in 2020.
