Academic Foundation Doctor

  • Additional job titles
I am an Academic Junior Doctor with Oxford University Clinical Academic Graduate School and have recently joined PERL as a part time researcher, alongside clinical work in Psychiatry. I am currently working with Professor Catherine Harmer on a study analysing the effect of gender on facial emotional processing. Prior to qualifying as a doctor I gained a BSc in Psychology and spent 2 years at the Unit for Social and Community Psychiatry at Queen Mary University, managing a large RCT investigating the use of financial incentives in improving adherence to antipsychotic depot medication. After completing my foundation training I hope to specialise in Psychiatry and continue to combine a clinical and research career.
