Oana Gurau

I am a MSc (Res) student under the supervision of Professor Charles Newton. The aim of my research is to use machine learning algorithms to analyse EEG data recorded from children in multiple regions in the world in order to identify biomarkers of neurological damage in autism and epilepsy, that could be used for clinical diagnosis. I am interested in improving clinical care in undeserved populations.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Cognitive Psychology and Neuroscience at Jacobs University Bremen in Germany.
