M.D., Ph.D. Cand.
Clinical Researcher
I am a study doctor in the Wellcome-funded Function and Cognition in Early Psychosis (FOCUS) trial, led by Dr Robert McCutcheon, which investigates the effects of xanomeline-trospium compared with standard antipsychotics on cognition in schizophrenia spectrum disorders. I hold a medical degree from the University of Groningen (NL), where I also completed my doctoral research on psychosocial factors in early-phase psychotic disorders. I have experience working with Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) data and in cross-cultural psychiatric epidemiology. I am committed to the generation of rigorous evidence that improves both the prevention of psychotic disorders and the quality of care for those affected by them.
