Stories about Brain Health and Ethnicity (Oxford SABHEE Study)
While we know lots about how lifestyle can contribute to brain health, not much of this research has included South Asian communities in the UK. We are interested in understanding how positive and negative experiences of living in the UK can contribute to brain health. We hope this knowledge will help us to better manage diseases like dementia in South Asian adults.
If you decide to take part you will have a friendly one-on-one conversation with a researcher and complete a short questionnaire about your general health. You can choose whether the interview takes place online or in-person. The study visit will last up to 2 hours. Participation is entirely your choice, and you can stop at any time. Your stories will help inform culturally relevant dementia policies and care that reflects the experiences of South Asian adults.
