Nathan Shlobin

Nathan was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. He received his BA in Biological Sciences and Psychology and MD from Northwestern University as part of the Honors Program in Medical Education and took a year off during medical school to complete an MBA at Northwestern University. Nathan's clinical interests include functional and epilepsy, and he is involved in work within bioethics, global health, and health policy. Nathan is working with Professors Ilina Singh and Julian Savulescu and Mr. Alex Green at the University of Oxford and Dr. Matt Baum at Harvard University to investigate the ethics of deep brain stimulation for psychiatric disorders.
