I am working in the Immuno-Metabolic and Severe Mental Illness Group under Professor Rachel Upthegrove, co-supervised by Professor Michael Browning in Computational Psychiatry. My research interests center on immuno-metabolic mechanisms in severe mental illness, particularly using brain imaging (MRI), proteomics, epigenetics, and predictive modeling to explore aging models in schizophrenia and inform treatment responses.
My main role involves integrating multi-omics data to uncover disease progression and biomarker insights, aiming to advance understanding of neural-immune interactions.
Prior to my DPhil, I contributed to schizophrenia research through clinical assessments, cognitive data analysis, and a meta-analysis on treatment effects, while supporting low-intensity CBT and wellbeing protocols for over 100 service users with mild-to-moderate mental health issues.
In addition to my graduate studies, I have attended the Croucher Computational Neuroscience Bootcamp and Leiden Computational Social Cognition Course to develop my modeling skills.
