Clinical Trial Manager
I am the Trial Manager for the FOCUS study, a randomised clinical trial led by Dr Rob McCutcheon. The study investigates whether xanomeline–trospium, a potential novel treatment for psychosis, can improve both symptoms and cognitive functioning in individuals with psychosis.
I work across the Department of Psychiatry and the Primary Care Clinical Trials Unit within the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, based at the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter.
My clinical and research background spans the coordination and delivery of both CTIMP and non-CTIMP NIHR portfolio-adopted trials within the NHS. I specialise in mental health research across the lifespan, with particular expertise in early-intervention psychosis and severe mental illness, drawing on extensive clinical experience.
