POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER
My research focuses on understanding the first-hand experiences of autistic young people and their families. A central component of my research is meaningful patient and public involvement (PPI), with a strong emphasis on creative and child-led approaches. I prioritise working closely with CYP, families, and educators to ensure that research is grounded in lived experience and translates into practical, acceptable, and impactful outcomes.
My current work on the All About Me project centres on developing and evaluating a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming toolkit to support CYP across home and school contexts, with the aim of informing more personalised and effective support for neurodivergent young people and their families.
