Are you aware of Experimental Medicine as an approach, but unsure how to begin your own study? Or are you supporting colleagues working on Experimental Medicine research projects, but unsure about the bigger picture?
The NIHR Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre (NIHR Oxford Health BRC) is holding a new course in January 2019, the Oxford Short Course in Experimental Medicine for Mental Health (OxCEMM), for those with a basic understanding of experimental medicine who would like to develop a more comprehensive and practical grounding in this area.
Aimed at clinical and pre-clinical staff and trainees, pharmacists, basic scientists and allied health professionals, it’s an intensive two-and-a-half day course covering what you need to know to develop and conduct experimental medicine studies in mental health.
With involvement from BRC researchers, from presentations and discussions, to small group exercises and research facility tours, it’s designed to be an interesting and useful programme.
