I am an Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry working in City NE Oxon Adult Mental Health Team.
My special interest is in Menopause, Menstrual Health and the relationship to Mental Health and I have set up and continue to run a Menopause and Menstrual Health Clinic in Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust in collaboration with Community Gynaecology.
I am on the Menopause Working Party for the Royal College of Psychiatrists and am editing a textbook for RCPsych and Cambridge University Press- Menopause, Menstrual Cycles and Mental Health- due to be released later in 2026.
My current research project is a qualitative study looking at the experience of suicidality in the perimenopause.
