Yanni Zeng

Visiting researcher

Yanni is a visiting researcher in statistical genetics in the Wray group at the Big Data Institute and Department of Psychiatry. 

Yanni studied psychiatric genetics in her PhD in 2013-2016, supervised by Prof. Andrew Mcintosh and Prof. Chris Haley in University of Edinburgh. In 2017-2018 she worked with Prof. Chris Haley’s group as a postdoc exploring determination of DNA methylation and related impact on complex traits. In 2018 she joined Zhongshan school of medicine, Sun Yat-sen University as an associate professor. In 2024 she starts to work with Prof. Naomi Wray in University of Oxford as a visiting researcher.

Yanni's current research interest focuses in genetic, epigenetic and environmental determination of complex traits and diseases.
