  • Online Questionnaire Study Looking for: Individuals recovered from Anorexia Nervosa, healthy individuals involved in competitive sports, and healthy individuals not involved in competitive sports.
    Expenses: You will receive a £5.00 Amazon Voucher for completing the survey

    We are interested in hearing from individuals recovered from Anorexia Nervosa, healthy individuals invoved in competitive sports, and healthy individuals not involved in sports to take part in an online questionnaire study. You must be aged between 18-65 to take part, and have no history of an eating disorder in the latter two groups. The online questionnaire will take approximately 25-30 minutes to complete and you will answer questions about your eating and exercise habits, as well as your general mood.

    Are you feeling really sad? Have you lost interest in the things you would usually enjoy?

  • Have you wondered why depression sometimes runs in families? Looking for: Healthy people (16-20 years old) with no history of depression but have a parent with a history of depression

    If so you might be interested in helping with the research we are conducting where we are investigating risk factors for major depression and diabetes/cardiovascular disease.

  • Over 60? Want to start exercising? Looking for: Volunteers over 60
    Expenses: participants will be reimbursed up to £300 plus travel expenses

    Researchers at the University of Oxford are currently investigating the effects physical activity can have on the brain. This research will involve over 100 adults who are over 60 years old.

  • Young People and Self-harm Study Looking for: Parents and Carers of young people who have self-harmed

    Do you have a daughter or a son, aged up to 25, who has harmed themselves, or are you a carer of such a person? Researchers at the University of Oxford would like to hear about your experiences and use what you tell us to support other parents and carers.

  • Do you feel blue, have mood swings or feel anxious Looking for: people with bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety disorders and people with no experience of psychological problems

    Do you feel blue, have mood swings or feel anxious? Or no previous or current psychological problems? If so, we need your help! Researchers at the Department of Psychiatry are investigating mental processes in people with bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety disorders and people with no experience of psychological problems. Please note this is an interview only study – no drugs or brain scanning are involved.
