Personality Disorder; Sleep Medicine; Psychological interventions

I am a psychiatrist researching the part that our personalities play in our mental health and quality of life. My doctoral project is supervised by Kate Saunders (Department of Psychiatry), and Simon Kyle (Experimental and Clinical Sleep Medicine group), looking at how unhelpful parts of our personalities relate to our sleep quality, and the development of treatments aiming to improve each one through the other.

I am the current secretary to the Section of Personality Disorders at the World Psychiatric Association.
