Losartan and Emotional Learning

Are you struggling to find joy in things lately? Interested in contributing to a research study?

We are looking for volunteers (aged 18-50 years and fluent in English) who are experiencing a low mood or reduced motivation. We are investigating how a single, small dose of the medication Losartan, a safe and licensed drug, affects certain aspects of learning and memory, which we know are important for psychological treatment to work. However, we think that it may also enhance the effectiveness of psychological treatments such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy.

The study involves one online screening (30 min), and one face-to-face testing session of about 2-3 hours in total.

We are looking for

Healthy adults aged 18 - 50, who are experiencing low mood or reduced motivation, who are not currently taking antidepressants.

Expenses

You will be reimbursed £80 and reasonable travel costs.
