Applications are invited for a three year, full-time secondment for a Research Fellow in Work and Mental Health. The post would be suitable for a candidate wishing to carry out an MD/PhD and who is likely to choose Occupational Psychiatry as their long-term career.

The College, seeks through this role, to raise the profile of Occupational Psychiatry, highlighting the interdependence of work and mental health. The candidate would be expected to pursue their research in their university but also to engage with key stakeholders such as occupational medicine, employers and policy makers.

Applicants should be medically qualified in a psychiatric training post and have full GMC registration. Further details about this post are available on request. Any candidate who would like to be considered for this post should submit a 2 page CV and a statement (no more than 4 sides of A4 ) indicating their area of specific interest, proposed arrangements for supervision, expertise, experience and details of a proposed host institution to hr@rcpsych.ac.uk.
