Giulio Scola

Postdoctoral Researcher

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Forensic Psychiatry Group, led by Professor Seena Fazel. My work focuses on validating violence risk assessment tools and conducting epidemiological research to investigate the link between mental illness and violence.

Previously, I was based at King’s College London, where I tested the feasibility of estimating treatment effects from the electronic health records data of King’s College Hospital using the target trial framework.

My research interests are in causal inference and psychiatric epidemiology.
