Research Assistant
I am currently a research assistant for the PAX-D study, a randomised placebo-controlled trial investigating the efficacy and mechanisms of pramipexole as an add-on treatment for individuals with treatment-resistant depression (TRD). My primary responsibilities include participant recruitment, conducting semi-structured and structured diagnostic interviews, administering rating scales, and processing blood samples.
Additionally, I work as both a research assistant and therapist for the CRiB2 study, which investigates the efficacy and explores the putative mechanisms of a partly computerised cognitive remediation (CR) therapy for people with bipolar disorder.
The integration of therapy and research in my current role has deepened my commitment to exploring innovative treatments and advancing both clinical and research practices in the field of mental health.
