We work to create a future in which all children and young people can thrive. Our research explores how the systems, environments, and experiences shaping young lives—from climate change and digital worlds to inequality and access to support—influence mental health and wellbeing. Working in partnership with young people, families, practitioners, and policymakers, we prioritise prevention, early intervention, and underserved communities. Spanning population-, system-, and individual-level approaches, we generate evidence that informs policy, practice, and services, helping to build resilience, improve support, and deliver lasting change.
OUR STUDIES
Our observational and experimental studies aim to understand the mechanisms underlying children’s development, and the impact of risk factors on child and family outcomes.
We use this to create effective and deliverable interventions to support children, families and healthcare professionals.
We have a number of active projects and initiatives that our team are working on and further information can be found in the links below.
