We are conducting a study to find out how young people want their online data to be managed. The study is called MindKind and it explores mental health issues commonly faced by young people. As part of the study, we are looking for young volunteers aged 16-24 years old to use the MindKind app as part of a 12-week trial. This app is available on the Google Play store only. The app will ask questions about your everyday mood, emotional health, physical activity, and sleep. There is minimal risk to participating in this study as these are questions which you may come across in your daily activities. By participating in the study, you will be able to share your views and shape the future of data collection in research. Crucially, we expect that you will become more aware of how your data is used in mental health research. This study has received the requisite ethical approval (University of Oxford Ref. R73366/RE001, University of Cambridge Ref. PRE.2021.031).
