Neural mechanisms of cued pain anticipation and collision prediction in the presence and absence of tonic experimental pain
We are looking for volunteers to take part in studies exploring brain activity associated with pain.
What do the studies involve?
- Studies involve attending a single session of up to 3 hours at the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging or the Old Road Campus Research Building, Oxford
- You will play a series of virtual reality games whilst receiving moderately painful stimuli to your hand or arm.
- During the tasks, we will measure your brain activity using electroencephalography (EEG) or functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
