Jo Zhuo Li
BSc, MSc, PhD
Postdoctoral Researcher
Jo is a postdoctoral researcher in the CHIMES Collaborative working on the ATTUNE project which aims to understand the impact of adverse childhood experiences on mental health, and co-design preventative arts and digital interventions tailored to the needs of young people.
Jo completed her PhD in Psychological Medicine at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London. Her project was a mixed methods evaluation of treatment adaptations introduced by the PEACE pathway at the National Eating Disorders Service in London. These adaptations were developed to better accommodate the unique needs of autistic individuals with eating disorders. In her concurrent role as project manager for the pathway, Jo supported the dissemination of service innovations and co-managed a randomised controlled trial investigating the use of socially assistive robots in supporting emotion regulation among patients with eating disorders.
Jo’s research focuses on the evaluation and development of mental health interventions. Other areas of research interest include women’s mental health, neurodiversity, and eating disorders.
