Thareq Barasabha

Thareq is a digital health and health technology enthusiast holding Bachelor of Medical Science, Medical Doctor, and Master of Electrical Engineering degrees. In Indonesia, he worked as a lecturer at Universitas Brawijaya, Malang and founded several health-tech startups. He is actively involved in various innovative research projects focusing on areas such as disease prevention, telemedicine, and medical device development.

Tareq works as a researcher at Dementias Platform UK group & Five Lives whilst studying for a D.Phil Degree in Psychiatry at The University of Oxford. His research studies are focused on the gamification of cognitive remediation therapy for preventing dementia.
