Professor Sharpe, from the University of Oxford Department of Psychiatry, has been presented with this lifetime achievement award from the European Association of Psychosomatic Medicine.

On 19th June 2016 in Lulea Sweden, Professor Michael Sharpe was presented with the ‘Alison Creed Award’ of the European Association of Psychosomatic Medicine.
 
I am honoured to receive this European award which recognises the hard work of many colleagues researching and implement integrated models of care over a number of years and reinforces Oxford’s position as an international leader in the field
