Anabelle Paulino

BA in Neuroscience

MSc by Research Student

I am currently pursuing an MSc by Research in the Department of Psychiatry under the supervision of Seena Fazel. My research interests broadly include population mental health and social health equity, with my current project investigating the association between post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and subsequent violence victimization through population-level epidemiological analyses and sibling comparison studies using Swedish register data.

My work at Oxford builds closely off prior research conducted in the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Karolinska Institutet as a US Fulbright Research Grant Recipient. Prior to this, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience with a secondary qualification in English at Harvard University. My current MSc degree is funded by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation.
