The Centre for Suicide Research has an interest in drugs used for self-poisoning. Our current NIHR Programme Grant will look at the relative toxicity of groups of drugs commonly used for self-poisoning, including analgesics, mood stabilisers, major tranquilisers and benzodiazepines.
