Alison is a Consultant Psychiatrist in Oxford Health with expertise in Adult Autism and ADHD.  She is a Clinical Lead for the Buckinghamshire Adult Autism Diagnostic Service and offers a weekly clinic in the Adult ADHD Service.

She has a longstanding interest in medical education.  Alison holds a Postgraduate Certificate and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.  She is delighted to have been made an Oxford University Medical Education Fellow (OUMEF) and an Honorary Teaching Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry for her role in delivering the Oxford Postgraduate Psychiatry Course (OPPC).

Her current focus is promoting autism awareness amongst clinicians through the National Autism Training Programme for Psychiatrists, and teaching clinical communication skills to University of Oxford medical students.
