Farshad Shaddel is a consultant psychiatrist, Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy, Chair of Mental Health Steering Group at St Andrews Healthcare and a member of the CASC Panel at the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He is the director of the Oxford Centre of Medical Education and has led the Developing Learning & Teaching for medical educators programme (DLT Med Eds) for a year between April 2019-April 2020. Farshad has done his postgraduate qualification in leadership and teaching in Higher Education (PGDip-LATHE) with the University of Oxford. His special interest is formative and summative assessments in medical education. Farshad and his colleagues created and added the “contextually-apt feedback” concept (Also known as CoRPuS grid) to current medical education literature.
