I am an NIHR Clinical Lecturer with backgrounds in both clinical psychiatry and engineering. Prior to studying medicine at the University of Oxford, I was a research fellow in engineering at Harvard Medical School and the Boston Children's Hospital.

My research seeks to use big data (including electronic health records, brain imaging, and mobile phone data) to help characterise and treat psychiatric disorders. By interrogating large multimodal datasets, I aim to gain insight into the complexity of mental illness, including its granular dynamics at the symptom level, its transdiagnostic nature, and its link with 'physical' illnesses (and COVID-19 in particular); and to translate this insight into treatment targets.
