Meggie Smith

Research Assistant (Data Curation)

Meggie is part of the data curation team in Oxford, working to support the optimisation of cohort data available to researchers in the DPUK Data Portal. She is responsible for the maintenance and development of metadata tools and is involved in the C-Surv curation implementation programme. 

Meggie is part of the Modifying Dementia Risk research group which utilises largescale longitudinal population data resources to explore the potentially modifiable lifestyle risk factors associated with dementia. Her particular research focuses on how dietary patterns influence cognitive and dementia outcomes. 

Meggie has completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Neuroscience and an MSc in Psychiatric Research.
