Mohammad Karimipour

Postdoctoral researcher

I am a postdoctoral researcher working alongside Dr. Emma Soneson on the BrainWaves study, led by Professor Mina Fazel. Our research focuses on conducting a qualitative study to explore the concerns of young people regarding consenting procedures in health research. We are particularly interested in understanding how these procedures affect privacy, confidentiality, data accuracy, and the continued involvement of participants in longitudinal studies.

My background is in mixed-methods research, with a specific interest in young people's mental health and fostering wisdom in this population. My PhD project at King's College London, focused on these areas.
