We are looking for healthy volunteers aged 18-50 years to take part in a study investigating how a statin (a medication commonly used to reduce cholesterol) changes the way we process emotional information and rewarding information, and its effect on inflammation.

The study consists of two sessions at the Department of Psychiatry for 4 hours in total. It involves psychological tasks and taking one tablet each day for 7 days between the two study visits. You will be asked questions about your medical history to check your suitability for the study and a blood test will be taken at each visit.
